Resonant High Frequency Wireless Power Receiver Controller
Eggtronic EPIC1AQW02 is the EPIC 1.0 controller for proprietary high frequency inductive wireless power receivers based on WaveEgg technology developed by Eggtronic. The EPIC1AQW02 is designed to add wireless charging functionality to a wide range of portable devices and/or small electronics products without having to deal with complex specific protocols or state machines. It offers a higher efficiency compared to standard Qi solutions. It supports charging a battery directly without the need for an additional PMIC.
The controller includes a 32-bit RISC-V MCU, as well as analog and digital peripherals, ensuringe extreme flexibility to handle battery charge algorithm, host device interface (i.e. BMS) communication and I/Os for auxiliary functions. It is best suited for small devices (earphones, smart watches, media players, gaming controllers, sensors, smartphones, etc), and IoT applications that need high performance. EPIC1AQW02 is a low-cost, ultra-small, highly efficient alternative to the traditional wireless charging solutions based on Qi.
