DC/AC DAB Cycloconverter Digital Controller
The Eggtronic EPIC2ACO01 is a highly integrated, cost-effective mixed-signal controller that forms the core of the SolarEgg™ microinverter technology. It enables direct, single-stage DC-to-AC (cycloconverter DAB-based) power conversion from photovoltaic (PV) panels with a peak efficiency exceeding 97.5%, maximizing energy harvest.
The controller integrates the complex management for the advanced SolarEgg™ single-stage Dual Active Bridge (DAB) architecture. By handling all critical functions including Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) and grid synchronization on a single chip, the EPIC2ACO01 significantly reduces the Bill of Materials (BOM) and design complexity compared to conventional multi-stage microinverters.
This makes it the ideal control solution for next-generation microinverters designed for modern high-power (>400W) solar modules in residential and commercial applications.
